The Cylinder operates like any normal Hydraulic or Pneumatic Cylinder, where two ports are provided to move the cylinder in forward or reverse direction. |
|
|
In case of HP cylinders, a third port is provided, this port is pressurised to actuate the Power stroke. During reversal, this port is released to atmosphere. |
|
|
The above sequencing can be achieved by various methods. Considering the requirements and cost implications a suitable circuit may be adopted |
|
|
Providing flow control valves on the ports can control the idle forward speed and the reversal speed. |
|
|
For Smooth functioning and long seal life, an FRL unit in the air supply line is very essential. |
